Do you ever want to get off of your couch, or out from behind your computer, but you’re just not sure where to go, or what to do? Perhaps you would like to start experiencing the Arizona outdoors more, but you don’t know what is out there. Sometimes it can be hard to plan an adventure. You have to gather together information on your destination, know exactly how to get there, and what to expect.
That’s why I’m here. I’m going to do the work for you and be a resource for any questions you have regarding the destinations I write about. Make sure to register for an account so you can join the discussion.
Finding AZ is a blog dedicated to sharing the places that I have found make Arizona unique. It is my hope that this site will appeal to all the aspiring travelers and explorers out there and encourage more people to get outside and enjoy Arizona’s natural beauty and the plethora of activities you can do in the state.
Here’s a little bit of background info on me. My name is Meghan Bingle. I’m a military brat turned long-term Arizona dweller. My path in life is best illustrated like this:
Arizona > Virginia > Hawaii > Virginia > Alabama > Virginia > Arizona
I was born in Arizona but only lived there a very short time as a baby. Every 2-3 years our family picked up and moved; I dreaded it. For as long as I can remember, I just wanted to stay put, and as an adult, I was finally able to do just that. Oddly, I ended up right where I started (well… almost).
I think far too often; people take for granted the places they live in. They let the monotony of everyday life get to them, and they appreciate less and less of what is right around them (sometimes even right under their noses). It’s time to stop that epidemic and start enjoying what we have.
